The root cause of this was identified as being the SMS sending on our cloud environment at AWS going beyond its quota, because of spamming of our sign-up form. We have taken measures to increase the quota and block spam requests, so that login is again working as normal for our users. Furthermore we are working on longer term solutions to limit the exposure to similar attacks in the future.
The estimated time of the quota-increase that made SMS-based login work again was 0300 CEST in the night to Monday October 7th. If you have problems logging in, please contact support@artifik.no and we’ll help you.
